The world to come represents life in God’s Kingdom. It is also referred to as paradise, the garden of God, the New Jerusalem, Mount Zion, and more. It is the place where all live in perfect harmony by one Spirit, in the glory of the Lord. It is an eternal dimension of perfection, peace, and joy, where nothing changes or dies.

The gospel reveals that we came out of God — we are sons of God, offshoots of the Divine One who inhabits eternity. The gospel also announces emancipation to a perishing world and provides a pathway of reconciliation for the inhabitants of the earth, so that the sons of God may return to their glorious place in the Lord.

Like Jesus, the confession of everyone who has rediscovered himself is:

“I came out of God the Father, and I go back to God the Father.”

Jesus spoke of the signs that follow those who believe this great revelation from above:

Mark 16:15–18 – And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

From this scripture, we learn:

1) Preach the Gospel

Proclaim the good news, revealing the mystery of Christ within — the image and likeness of the only true and living God. This begins by declaring it within yourself, allowing your own being to become the voice of Him who is.

2) Believe and Enter Life

The one who has seen, heard, and believed the truth — “I came out of the Father God, and I am one with the Father” — lays down the human sense of life and enters back into true life. He is eternally saved and preserved by the glory of the Lord. These are those who have understood the unity of the faith hidden in God and are joined to the Lord as one Spirit. As sons of the Kingdom, they live unto the Father by the Holy Spirit.

3) The Signs That Follow Those Who Believe

Those who walk in the light of the revelation of oneness with God arise from among the dead and walk in the new name — the name of the Lord.

a. They shall cast out devils

These “devils” are lying spirits of unbelief that blind, impoverish, and keep humanity captive in mortality and separation from God. Any spirit that does not confess “Christ in you” is the spirit of antichrist, which deceives the whole world. Such spirits must be silenced and cast out — both within oneself and in the lives of others — so that the sons of God may reign in life in God.

b. They shall speak with new tongues

This was symbolically demonstrated on the Day of Pentecost when a rushing mighty wind filled the upper room and tongues of fire rested on the 120 disciples. They spoke with new tongues, signifying baptism into the Lord’s invisible Body — united with the heavenly hosts, all dwelling in God.
In this reality, we speak a celestial language: the language of the Spirit, rooted in the knowledge of “I AM.” Sons of God, angels, and morning stars all share in this consciousness, living in the Lord who declares, “I am He that lives.”

c. They shall take up serpents

This means rising above carnal-mindedness — the beastly serpent nature — thus overcoming the mark of the beast. Through their testimony, believers lift others out of mortality and death. Just as Moses lifted the serpent in the wilderness, demonstrating resurrection power, so too is the believer lifted from the dust-nature of man into the glorious image of the Lord. The overcomer becomes a life-giver, drawing others back to God, as Jesus said: “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me” (John 12:32).

d. They shall not be hurt by deadly drink (poison)

This speaks of the venomous lies that flow from human systems and religious traditions. Though they may appear morally or culturally right, they subtly deny God and are abominable in His sight. Those who know the truth are no longer corrupted or harmed by such lies.

e. They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover

In the Spirit, recovery means rediscovering the boundless, celestial state we had with God from the beginning. All who live outside the light of Christ’s revelation are spiritually sick. Through the gospel, the light of Christ heals, restores, and raises people from the pit of mortality into eternal life.

The believer does not go about seeking these signs, rather they spontaneously follow them as they submit to the guidance of the Spirit. Everyman must allow the auction within lead them into this new dispensation of life in God.
